Yeah, right.  As if someone knows how to put Ebola into cans...sheesh.

Anyway, this week was a rad one here in Skate3-land.  Got to hang with our Francophone homeboy, Lucas Puig, and we got an old buddy added back to the Skate team.  Old buddy, is Josh Kline...he does skate video capturing type stuff when he's not busy shredding for real and killing it at curling Bon Spiels.  Josh introduces himself below and he's posting up a clip of Lucas learning to skate the gnarly snake by the river.  That spot is in the game...and believe it or not...getting back to the top is easier in the game than in real life.

Merry Christmas Skate fans!! Ok, so it's not Christmas yet, but it sure feels like it for me. This is my first week back on board with the Skate team after a long summer off, and before I go any further, in the words of Jay-Z, please allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Josh, and you may or may not be familiar with my name, but what you will be familiar with, is my work. I've been one of the people capturing all those clips and screenshots you have been seeing for the last few years. From clips of the day, to San Vanelona flythroughs, to magazine screenshots, I was one of those guys behind the controller. I hope that sounds a little more familiar now.

I can't begin to explain how stoked I am to be back working with the best skateboarding franchise EVER and after seeing Skate 3 (I just played it today for the first time), I can tell already that this installment is going to blow minds! I can happily say that I will still be fulfilling a lot of your capturing needs, but I have also been given a new role with the community. I'm stoked to be working with Ron and Cuz, bringing you guys some behind-the-scenes exclusives, introducing you to the folks at Black Box who work on this franchise, and maybe even dropping some of my own skate footage. With that being said, expect to be seeing and hearing a lot from me this time around, and we as a community are going to take this game to another level!

As a little first-post bonus, I'll toss in a little footage of Lucas Puig we filmed the other day at Seylynn skatepark in North Vancouver. Lucas was in town for a couple days to do some voice-over work. This was his first time in Vancouver and after going on a skate spot tour, and taking in a Canucks hockey game, he can't wait to come back. Rumors are that he's going to try and get the whole Cliché team to do a Canada tour, which would be sick, so I've got my fingers crossed.
