Greetings from 1954...
Demzilla here. I'd like to give a big shout out to fellow hoodlum member teh miles for his recent skate film. During the filming and editing Miles would be in a room and loose his cool with a trick or a perfect camera set up. After a few days of frustration he decided it would be best for him to slow down. Change the way he approaches a film. So he started playing the game with less remorse for what tricks he was doing, just having fun like he should. Then when he started to film the clips he took his time. After dealing with the adv free cam meticulous issues he decided that a break was needed. He came to a conclusion that his "mood" was really the main factor as to why his edited clips looked the way they do. So when he started editing his film he got really excited. Not because he was done filming but because what he had was exciting and picture perfect in his opinion.
The film took 3 days to edit. I don't know how many hours it took because that doesn't matter. What matters is that teh miles was so excited about his work he was yelling in the mic over live. Then you see the film. INCREDIBLE... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNYsoKV3V1M
I say incredible because I think it destroys anything else he had done prior to this film. The details and time he took on the film not only shows but they shine as bright as possible. Miles was so excited about his outcome that he vowed to only play/film/edit in this kind of relaxed take-my-time way. BIG SHOUT OUT TO TEH MILES FOR MAKING A CHOICE TO REEVALUATE HIS APPROACH TO SOLOS. That takes guts and determination and I commend him for it. I honestly can't wait to see his part in the VICE FULL "REAGONMICS". I don't have high hopes. I have an intuition that says I know it's gonna be bangin. I typed all of this because I want to explain the importance of having fun, taking your time, and receiving the same great feeling miles felt when he finally had a finished film that he knew was beautiful and entertaining. My main back-of-the-head point is to have fun. When you're having fun everything else comes as a gift. No one should rush anything when it comes to this culture. Physically or virtually. Please community, have a blast, take your time, and remember that your mood during your work affects the entire outcome. At first I thought the collabo called Bullet and Jack was about a beer with whiskey chaser. After watching it, I realize that I was mistaken. The Bullet is way too gnarly to be a weak-ass beer and Jack is too fiery to be a sipping whiskey. As I clearly stated above...I'm tapped for time this week. But, I did have time to get Hitman and Demz to send me some words. Hitman , why don't you tell us what's on tap...
"Yeah so pretty much the past 3 weeks have been quite busy and exhausting. My youtube account being suspended because berrics finally claimed their copyrights (after how many videos have been uploaded?). I also got out of summer school.....very interesting experience....but that's for another blog. Anyways other than that been trying to get this Saturday Hit Promo underway and out of my hair. All the filming over the month has pretty much accumulated up to about 80+ clips, some may not make it into the promo and get used as mini trailer clips or something. But yeah when I start to get Saturday Hits going again anyone's able to jump in. But my main focus for this year of skate is to get some more solos out since I had like
2 in O.G Skate. Hopefully I'm able to get Saturday Hits done before the year ends and make The Big Hit 2. Yeah thats my two and a half cents.....PEACE!!! HOODLUM!"
Ok...we learned that the The Big Hit 2 is going to happen sometime...and summer school was interesting. Did you learn how to drive drunk? (Please watch Summer School for the reference..."the problem with drunk drivers is that no-one learns how to drive drunk.")

So airwalks are the new god. Popless got a ticket for being over used, and double grinds are the divorce that never gets finalized. So my question is. Whats the new hot sauce for my eggs? I keep doing the "ghost ollie" with mini pops and its kinda nice. You know when you miss the end or a edge and you popless really high and alil further than normal? Well i keep doing that but with the lowest ollie. That on a nice size gap can make some very realistic and interesting outcomes.
On one gap i did a front flip (frotnside 180 kickflip) and i just barely hoped over mr. blue. it resembles a billy mark type of super flick steez. It was crazy. Crazy fast and awesome looking. PLEASE SOMEONE try this out...I feel like im taking crazy pills, obey my dog!. Zoolander watch it. Oh and 1954 is in the middle of filming for "195WAR". WAR will be declared in September. We have a few commercials that need to be released first.

A little Hood Action...
Having just blogged Wednesday, and being super lazy and bereft of a single interesting thought...I decided to enlist the help of Demzilla to get this party started. Yes, I know you're thinking that he could just post this in the forums...but I dig this because he's got a message...and didn't use "..."s. It's kind of like a public service announcement written by a rad member of the Skate Community. Thanks Demz...and see below for part 2...Greetings from 1954...
